Today bright rebel coaching have been awarded a prestigious Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver award.
All of our coaches, including Associates, are military veterans (and some of them overlap as military spouses), all of our outsourcing is done by military spouses and we offer a discount to any member of the Armed Forces Community. My 17 years in the Royal Air Force taught me a lot about how hard life can sometimes be as a member of that community. Leaving has opened my eyes to how much harder it can sometimes be for Veterans and for spouses, so our company provides extra paid and unpaid leave to support postings, commits to supporting the employment of Service spouses and partners by ensuring new opportunities are promoted to Recruit for Spouses, as well as within Service spouse specific online communities and supporting the employment of veterans young and old and working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), in order to establish a tailored employment pathway for Service Leavers. We will do this by ensuring new opportunities are promoted to CTP.
We also supporting our employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including by accommodating their training and deployment where possible, offering an additional 5 days of paid leave and up to 10 days of unpaid leave, providing flexible working hours and working from home options.
Finally, I personally offer free advice, guidance and work experience to any Veteran or military spouse who is interested in either Coaching or running a small business.
Being recognised for supporting the Armed Forces Community is fantastic for us. For a company still in Year 2, I'm extremely proud of the strides we are making and I promise that as we grow, our support will also continue to grow. After all, there's still a Gold award that we'd like to see on our shelf! ;)
