                                          Section 1: Principles Of The Armed Forces Covenant

​

  1. We bright rebel coaching ltd will endeavour in our business dealings to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, which are:

 

  • no member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen 

  • in some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate especially for the injured or bereaved.

 

Section 2: Demonstrating our Commitment 

 

2.1       bright rebel coaching ltd recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by:

 

  • Promoting the fact that we are an armed forces-friendly organisation.

  • Seeking to support the employment of veterans young and old and working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), in order to establish a tailored employment pathway for Service Leavers.  We will do this by ensuring new opportunities are promoted to CTP.

  • Striving to support the employment of Service spouses and partners.  We will do this by ensuring new opportunities are promoted to Recruit for Spouses, as well as within Service spouse specific online communities.  All outsourcing is done by Service spouses.

  • Offering flexible working hours working from home options for all members of staff, including Veterans and military spouses.

  • Offering an additional 5 days of paid leave and up to 10 further days of unpaid leave during posting periods for anyone affected by a military posting.

  • Supporting our employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including by accommodating their training and deployment where possible, offering an additional 5 days of paid leave and up to 10 days of unpaid leave, providing flexible working hours and working from home options.

  • Offering support to RAF Waddington in the provision of services on Health and Wellbeing Days at no charge.

  • Committing to actively participate in Armed Forces Day.

  • Offering free advice, guidance and work experience to any Veteran or military spouse who is interested in either Coaching or running a small business.  Email admin@brightrebel.co.uk to arrange this.

  • Offering a discount to members of the Armed Forces Community.  Please just ask if this applies to you.

  • Providing volunteer coaching and mentoring to members of the Armed Forces Community through Recruit for Spouses.

We're very proud and pleased to receive a 2019 Ministry of Defence Employers Recognition Scheme Silver award.  This award recognises that bright rebel coaching goes above and beyond in the support of the Armed Forces Community.  You can read in detail below what we promise, but as a company we support any member of the Armed Forces Community, but especially veterans and spouses.  All of our Associates are veterans (some are spouses too) and all of our outsourcing is done by professionals that are military spouses.  And we give a discount to any member of the Armed Forces Community.  Just ask.
